Grupo Galván receives Querétaro Export Award 2009

On August 5, 2009 the Governor of the State of Querétaro, Francisco Garrido Patrón, gave us the State of Querétaro Export Award 2009 in the category of services providers. The ceremony took place in the state's Government Palace. The prize was received by our manager in Querétaro Eduardo Juárez.
This is the most important foreign trade award offered by the Government of the State of Querétaro through the Secretary of Sustainable Development. It is a recognition to Grupo Galván for our support to local exporters and to the work that for more than 10 years we have been doing in benefit of the industry and the development of the state.
The prize is granted in three categories:
- Direct Exporters
- Indirect Exporters
- Services Providers

More than 100 companies participated in this contest. A very strict process is followed initiating with the presentation of legal documentation of the company, report of exporting activities held during 2007 - 2009 period and references of exporting clients. After that, the evaluation committee formed by 10 experts of the Secretary of Economy, Secretary of Sustainable Development and Secretary of Foreign Affairs, evaluate the documentation and carry out a domiciliary visit and interviews with the company executives.
